This is in response to Mr. O.L. Brasher's letter of October 30, 1972, requesting approval to dispose of salt water produced from your Chevron Field in Kleberg County, Texas. We note that you have obtained the approval of the Texas Water Quality Board and the Railroad Commission. We have discussed this matter with Mr. Thornhill's office of the Environmental Protection Agency in Dallas and they offer no objection to your proposal. Therefore, you are hereby granted the approval of this office to dispose of the salt water as you have proposed.
