Safe handling of amphibians and reptiles in Southeast Coast Network Parks
Southeast Coast Network. 2012. Safe handling of amphibians and reptiles in Southeast Coast Network Parks
The following is excerpted (with modification) from Beaupre et al.’s (2004) Guidelines for use of live amphibians and reptiles in field and laboratory research. We have only included those portions of the guidelines that are applicable to routine SECN I&M program activities that occur in the course of amphibian monitoring, with clarifications on how the guidelines are being applied to SECN operations. Please refer to the most recent guidelines at http://www.asih.org/files/hacc-final.pdf for situations that fall outside those parameters.
