Bentley J. Williams Pond : Baseline study. George Washington Carver National Monument Study Number GWCA-00006. Diamond Middle School, Missouri
The Williams Pond: Baseline Study was conduced at George Washington Carver National Monument. The purpose of this study was to provide the Monument with water quality information, which will determine the current condition of the pond. The study can be used to compare both past and present water quality information to identify changes and ensure the preservation of the pond. The study was accomplished by testing Williams Pond for pH, Nitrate, Nitrite, Total Hardness, and Water Temperature approximately weekly. One picture was taken from the same spot weekly to represent changes in the pond's environment. This study achieved its purpose by providing a benchmark for the future to pinpoint problems or changes in the pond's water quality.
