"...In Maine, about 67,850 acres were mapped through out the Sate, including area on the White Mountain National Forest, were mapped as damaged compared to 24,250 acres in 2008. The decrease in acreage was due to less wind damage during 2009. The majority of damage, 10,051 acres, was from defoliation and discoloration caused by oak leafroller.
