"The objective of this workshop was to provide masonry training to ACAD maintenance, carriage road and trail crew employees as well as other National Park Service maintenance workers. Topics covered included basic introduction to HPTC and our mission, preservation philosophy, knowledge of types of masonry units and their applications, mortar analysis, tools, history of dry stone construction, tools used and simple rules of dry stone work." /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /ACADIA NATIONAL PARK/
