Introduction: "This report summarizes work carried out to (i) upload new bibliographic records to the KnowledgBase (KB) Catalogue, (ii) upload items for the Acadia Research Opportunities Catalogue, and (iii) upgrade the functionality of the Acadia portal to KB wwwacadiascience.org KnowledgeBase (www.gulfofmane.org/kb). KB is an on-line catalogue of data sets and documents associated with the Gulf of Maine and its watershed. KB is the ‘hub’ in a hub and spoke system (Figure 1). Many of the items in the KB library form part of one or more Special Collections (Figure 2). Currently available collections include Acadia National Park, freshwater biodiversity, Maine lakes and other aquatic resources, including urban streams, diadromous fish, and Boston Harbor Islands. The portal (the “spoke”) for ANP records is currently a distinct Web site: www.acadiascience.org. While all Acadia-related records can be accessed from this site, the same records are also available from the KB hub." /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /ACADIA NATIONAL PARK/
