In FY11, the National Park Service embarked on a five year project to update existing park National Register (NR) documentation. The Intermountain Region (IMR) was one of three regions that participated in the pilot project. With park assistance, IMR’s Cultural Resource Program identified NR documentation and Determinations of Eligibility (DOE) in need of updating. The initiative focused specifically on existing National Register nominations and DOEs, no new nominations or DOEs were included in this initiative.
