Photopoints are an excellent technique to qualitatively document and visually describe the general condition and structural characteristics of a point of interest. The following Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) describes the procedure for the photo-documentation of sampling locations or sites as part of the terrestrial (vegetation, amphibians, landbirds, fire fuels) and salt marsh protocols, and the vegetation mapping accuracy assessment process.
