Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site (Site) commemorates the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln, sixteenth president of the United States. Because of Lincoln's towering position in American history, the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site was established to recognize his importance. This report contains information about the development of the site, the design and construction of a Lincoln Birthplace Memorial, and management recomendations.
