This appropriation targeted the need for technical assistance for the church, a designated National Historic Landmark and a cooperating site of the Adams National Historic Site (NHS), National Park Service (NPS). The church houses the remains of John Adams, second President of the United States; his wife Abigail; their son John Quincy Adams, sixth President of the United States ; and his wife Louisa. This report documents the evolution of the site and the extant church edifice.
