Dering P. 2002. Amistad National Recreation Area: Archeological Survey and Cultural Resource Inventory

The purpose of this report is to present results of surveys conducted within the Amistad National Recreation Area (Amistad NRA) under the authority of the Systemwide Archeological Inventory Program initiated by the National Park Service (NPS). Surveys summarized in the current report include the Systemwide Archeological Inventory Program survey of 1992-1993 and the low-water surveys of 1995-1997. An overview of these surveys will assist in providing the Park with the inventory and management information needed to preserve and protect cultural resources under current and future NPS management.
