This study about the remains of a historic wooden vessel located in Julian Bay on Stockton Island generates information about the maritime history of the Great Lakes, and discusses the general archeological and historical importance of the site. The goal of this project was to thoroughly document the remains of a historic wooden vessel, located off Stockton Island, in an effort to determine the nature and extent of the wreckage which would lead to is possible identification and a determination of its historical significance. The purpose for gathering this information was for the short and long term management of the site by the National Park Service in cooperation with the State of Wisconsin.
