Jacoby Development, Inc. and Kona Marina Development Group, have been selected by the State of Hawai‘i to develop Kona Kai Ola on approximately 530 acres in Kealakehe, Kona, Island of Hawai‘i. The project site comprises 200 acres owned by the State Department of Hawaiian Home Land, or DHHL, and 330 adjacent acres under the State Board of Land and Natural Resources, or BLNR. This project will not involve development of the Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historical Park or the existing Honokōhau Harbor, except for the shared entrance channel.
