This Facilities Development Plan (FDP) directs facility development for visitor services and park administration on the mainland shore parcel of Saint Croix Island International Historic Site at Red Beach for the next 15 to 20 years. The FDP directs the National Park Service to construct a ranger station and a maintenance facility at Red Beach to improve visitor service, conserve resources, and make park operations more efficient. This report discusses existing conditions, goals for improvement, important policies, and a plan for more development.
