Rare and endangered plant species and special protection areas. The purpose of this project is to determine the status of the rarer plant species in the park. Emphasis will be placed on species on national and state lists, but species which are merely uncommon within the park will also be included. Sites with unusual combinations of species will also be sampled. The final product will be a status report on rare plants and a series of special protection areas.
