This data represents the wilderness boundaries for both Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park. It represents four wilderness areas: 1) Sequoia-Kings Canyon Wilderness established 9/28/1984 by the California Wilderness Act of 1984, 2) Sequoia-Kings Canyon Wilderness Addition established 3/30/2009 by the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009, 3) John Krebs Wilderness established 3/30/2009 by the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009, and 4) the proposed wilderness areas south of the Krebs wilderness that was excluded from that act but is still managed as wilderness. These boundaries include designated wilderness, potential wilderness, transferrable wilderness, and proposed wilderness. his February 2012 updated version of the wilderness boundary includes several important boundary adjustments and fixes numerous topological errors.
