National Park Service, Acadia National Park. 1935. White pine blister rust control program: Blister rust pruning report (1935). National Park Service. Acadia National Park
A report on pruning activities intended to combat white pine blister rust. This report begins with ten pages of handwritten notes outlining a report. Following this is the typed 1935 report, beginning with a three page note from K. K. Stimson, a Plant Disease Control Agent. Next is the proposal for the treatment program for the year 1935. This begins with a summary of previous work, then a description of proposed work for 1935, including a small area near the Triad and an area in Otter Creek. Necessary personnel are briefly discussed, as are the procedures for treating diseased pines. After the proposal is the report itself, composed of a lot of data about areas treated and expenditures. There is a small map of one of the areas that underwent pruning.
