A report on white pine blister rust control activities. The report begins with a memorandum giving background on blister rust as well as projected fiscal estimates for the 1945 control program. Next is a letter from pathologist H.O. Frost which provides information on the fungus. Third is a memorandum of understanding between the U.S. Dept. of the Interior and the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, addressing the need for blister rust control. After this comes a memorandum for forest supervisors, followed by the Acadia plan for blister rust control for 1945 and a plan entitled, "Blister Rust Control on National Parks-- Financial Project BLR-5."
