This report has been developed to accompany the digital geologic map produced by Geologic Resources Inventory staff for Yosemite National Park (California). It contains information relevant to resource management and scientific research. Park specific geologic issues, geologic features and processes, a brief geologic history, a map unit properties table that identifies and describes the resource characteristics of map units in the park area, and a cartographic overview of the digital geologic data are included in this report.
