This brief describes results of forest bird monitoring by the National Capital Region Network Inventory & Monitoring (NCRN I&M) program in the Piscataway Park and Fort Washington Park from 2007 to 2010. These parks are both subunits of National Capital Parks - East. Includes map of the 14 monitoring plots in Piscataway and Fort Washington rated by habitat quality, list of 10 most common species in the parks (density per hectare), and a list of all species detected in the parks. Stewardship Species and Watchlist Species (per Partners in Flight) are noted.
