This manual provides documentation and instructions for using the Southeast Coast Network (SECN) Landbird-Community Monitoring Database module in SQL Server. This database consists of two primary components: data collection and data application. The data-collection component is designed to allow the user to enter all of the information contained on the field data sheets (i.e., Point Counts, Line Transect Counts and, eventually, Automated Recording Device data). This document provides a general overview of the functionality of the database, and instructions for database use. This manual will be updated as database development continues.
