This report provides a brief a summary and metadata for a riparian willow inventory conducted during 2003, 2004, and 2007 – 2010 in Yellowstone National Park (USA). More detailed analysis and interpretation will appear in future publications. It is hoped that the information provided here will assist users of the GIS data layers that resulted from this project. This report also provides reference maps for each area surveyed, which show the willow data superimposed on USGS topographical maps. To obtain the willow data, contact the author or the GIS lab in Yellowstone.
