The author of the thesis compares soil erosion and sediment buildup of trout streams in GRSM located near heavily-used trails. As a control, the author compares those streams near heavily-used trails to trout streams found away from trails. The author studies the macroinvertebrate community of each site and compares densities of young-of-year trout in the basin and subbasin of each stream.
