The author studies the effects hydrological patterns have on the survival of brook and rainbow trout in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Population dynamics of trout in GRSM were monitored during periods of floods and droughts. In addition, vegetation and land cover for the streams listed in the thesis were also studied.
