This annual report details the status of key stream channel characteristics and riparian attributes obtained from the first season of monitoring in Doan and Mill Creeks within Whitman Mission National Historic Site (WHMI). This report is intended as a release of basic data sets and data summaries. Data from the 2011 field sampling effort was collected following methods detailed in the UCBN stream channel characteristics and riparian condition monitoring protocols (Starkey et al. 2011a, Starkey et al. 2011b) and the United States Forest Service- PACFISH/INFISH Biological Opinion (PIBO) peer reviewed protocols (Heitke et al. 2009, Leary and Ebertowski 2010). The UCBN stream channel characteristics protocol was formally peer-reviewed and approved for implementation in December 2010. This protocol can be found on the UCBN website at: http://science.nature.nps.gov/im/units/ucbn/reports/index.cfm#IWQ_Mon. The UCBN riparian condition protocol was formally peer-reviewed and approved for implementation in September 2011.
