This letter is to confirm our conversation of July 14, 1997 regarding the performance bonds for the 16-1-4 abandonment. It is my understanding that you have Bond No. 224807, from Seaboard Surety Company, dated August 1, 1991, and also Bond No. 400-JP-17 49, from St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company, dated April 12, 1996. Please return Bond No. 224807 to me at Texas Eastern Transmission, P.O. Box 879, Portland, TX. 78374. I will then forward the bond to our Houston office for cancellation. We also discussed Bond No. 400-JP-1749, from St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Co.
