This report has been developed to accompany the digital geologic map produced by Geologic Resources Inventory staff for El Morro National Monument (New Mexico). Park specific geologic issues, geologic features and processes, a brief geologic history, and a map unit properties table that identifies and describes the resource characteristics of map units in the park area, are included in this report.
