The author observed macroinvertebrate densities and community structure in a 2.7km section of LeConte Creek that GRSM fisheries division to an allopatric stream containing brook trout as the only gamefish. This study will provide a baseline data component to measure effects of restored Southern Appalachian Brook Trout populations on aquatic macroinvertebrate community structure and composition.
