This Determination of Eligibility Report was initiated by the National Park Service as part of its stewarship of the cultural resources at Olympic National Park. This Report is a planning guide. It is the purpose of a Determination of Eligibility Report to research and evaluate the historic context and existing conditions of selected cultural resources to be recognized for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. Seventeen campgrounds within Olympic National Park comprised the subject of the report. The campgrounds range in age from 1921 to 1964 and include ones created by both the Forest Service and the National Park Service.
