This SOP provides instructions for the development, maintenance and distribution of monitoring data associated with the protocol for fixed-station water quality monitoring in the SECN. All fixed-station water quality monitoring data (e.g., calibration data, field data sheets, sonde data, and discrete nutrient data) will be stored in the SECN Data Management System and the database back end - dbInvMon. It is the responsibility of the Network Data Manager, Database Programmer, Aquatic Ecologists and water quality staff to be thoroughly familiar with the standards and procedures within the Network Data Management Plan (DMP) and ensure this SOP is updated to reflect any substantial changes made to the DMP. All proposed changes to this SOP must be routed through the Data Manager for approval. QA/QC guidelines in this document are based on the general concepts described in the QA chapter of the DMP.
