This report's objective is to initiate the protocol development process for a long-term kittiwake monitoring protocol for Glacier Bay National Park by reviewing the existing protocol with respect to advances in sampling techniques, photographic monitoring, and population modeling. We conducted a literature review, an assessment of historical data, preliminary data analysis, and field sampling.
