This report is evaluating the Yucca Mountains as a possible site for a geologic repository for the permanent disposal of spent nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive waste, advanced in several critical areas. These include programmatic activities such as development of the Program Approach and the Five-Year Plan, investigation and analysis of the site, design and construction of the Exploratory Studies Facility, and continuation of the focused Advanced Conceptual Design for the repository.
