The two areas for the PA/SI include: 1) a former landfill immediately south of the amphitheater and southwest of Juniper Campground Loops A and B, and 2) a former dump site near the Tyuonyi Overlook Loop Trail (approximately 1300 feetwest of the landfill). Information indicates that both the landfill and dump site were originally operated as quarriesfrom the time of the CCC work at BAND.
