Ritts S. 2002. AN HISTORIC AND ANALYTIC INVESTIGATION OF THE INTERIOR FINISHES OF BUILDINGS 15, 16 AND 18 AT FRIJOLES CANYON LODGE, BANDELIER NATIONAL MONUMENT, NEW MEXICO. University of Pennsylvania
Sally Ritts' thesis focused on the interior finishes for three historic buildings (Buildings 15, 16, and 18) in the National Historic Landmark Civilian Conservation Corps Historic District. The interior finishes were analyzed in terms of historic context, authenticity, integrity, and condition. The finishes survey centered on three components: archival research, condition assessment and on-site sampling with subsequent analysis at the Architectural Conservation Laboratory of the University of Pennsylvania.
