The Lepidoptera survey reponed herein was conducted joindy by Kenelm W. Philip and Cifford D. Ferris. This report documents tbe activities of C. D. Ferris. A separate repon bas been filed by K. W. Philip. Three visits were made to the Park for the purpose of evaluating the Lepidoptera species found within tbe general geographic confines of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. The dates and localities of these visits were: 13-14 June, 1995 (by private vehicle) along the Nabesna Road from Slana to the private in-bold at Devil's Mountain Lodge; 7 July, 1995 (by NPS helicopter) from Glennallen to a site on the west slope of Mt. Drum; 8-10 July, 1995 (by private vehicle) along the Nahesna Road from Slana to the private in-bold at Devil's Mountain Lodge. For the two Nabesna Road visits, a base camp was established at Jack Creek (mile 36.1).
