This database is fire effects monitoring data collected at Coronado National Memorial in southern Arizona. The data were collected with standard NPS FMH protocols during summer field seasons by the fire effects monitoring crew out of Saguaro National Park from 2009-2010. Data collected from shrub/herbaceous transects are 30 meter point intercept data to obtain cover. Photographs are taken to document change. Plots were burned and sprayed with herbicide in an attempt to reduce non-native grass and increase native species. Just before the year-2 read, all the plots were burned by the Monument Wildfire. Data still being worked on. Use with care. See Notes section. Data from 2012 to be added here later.
