Grand Teton Sagebrush Steppe Vegetation Monitoring Access Database
Dicus G and Rodhouse TJ. 2013. Grand Teton Sagebrush Steppe Vegetation Monitoring Access Database
Sagebrush steppe monitoring protocol database developed using version 3.2 of the Natural Resource Database Template. Appllication design uses a front-end database file containing all components of the user interface for data entry and basic data review, and a back-end database file containing the actual data tables as well as queries providing data summaries useful for analysis. The back-end database contains a few forms that serve as menu options for opening and exporting data summaries (exports are in a Microsoft Excel format). The application is capable of field use on a tablet PC, which allows for direct digital data entry with no paper field data forms. The application has extensive quality assurance features to minimize potential errors during either direct digital data entry or transcription data entry from paper data forms.
