Historic furnishings report - Eugene O'Neill National Historic Site, California
Olson SM. 1983. Historic furnishings report - Eugene O'Neill National Historic Site, California. Historic Furnishing Reports. Harpers Ferry Center, National Park Service
The O’Neills spent a full year furnishing Tao House, making many purchases during the summer of 1937 while the house was under construction and many more after they moved in on December 30, 1937. Major sources for the Tao House furnishings are reproduced in the illustrations and appendices of this report, while a documented discussion of each piece is presented under Furnishings Plan. The illustrations and appendices should be consulted for information about areas not recommended for furnishing.
