Frog surveys were completed along the Chitina to McCarthy Road to provide biologicaldata for accurate biological evaluations for the Chitina to McCarthy Road Improvement EIS.Two types of frog surveys were completed along the Chitina to McCarthy Roadway inselected aquatic and wetland habitats: breeding frog chorus surveys and tadpole nettingsurveys. Two types of surveys were done in order to increase the probability of positivelyidentifying suitable wood frog habitats along the roadway.
