This reference contains high resolution orthoimagery in MrSID format for park units of George Washington Memorial Parkway in Virginia collected in 2011. The imagery covering the sections of the park in Fairfax County and the City of Alexandria (the northern and southern sections of the park) are 1-foot resolution. And the imagery covering the section of the park in Arlington County (the middle section of the park) is 6-inch resolution. The mosaic image files were created from imagery in TIFF format downloaded from the U.S. Geological Survey, Earth Observation and Science (EROS) Center's Earth Explorer website. The imagery was originally developed through the Virginia Geographic Information Network (VGIN).
