National Park Service. 2008. Native Brook Trout Restoration on Lynn Camp Prong - Great Smoky Mountains National Park - Progress Report. National Park Service, Department of the Interior
This project is a proactive approach to reestablishing native brook trout in a segment of their historic range in GRSM. The completion of this project will help GRSM meet restoration goals for native brook trout identified in the Park’s Fishery Management Plan. The successful completion of this project will reconnect populations that have been isolated for over 75 years and increase the number of kilometers of stream that have been restored for native brook trout by approximately 50%.
