Descriptions by survivors of the wreck of the Prince Arthur in 1903 off the coast of the Olympic Peninsula as taken from historical documents and newspaper accounts. This event is the origin of Norwegian Memorial at Ozette where those that perished were placed in a large common grave. The Norwegian colony in Seattle supplied a memorial marker for the site which is within Olympic National Park.
