This study was conducted on the Energy Research and Development Administration's Savannah River Plant (SRP), South Carolina. The objectives were to (1) determine the age at puberty in male and female feral hogs, (2) define the seasonal fluctuations (if any) of male and female breeding capability, (3) delineate the breeding season, and (4) determine the average litter size and parturition frequency of feral hogs.
