The eighth annual citywide Tucson Bird Count, was conducted between April 15 and May 15, 2008. This year marked the TMC's largest effort, with the most sites surveyed and volunteers participating. Pending funding, the TBC will continue to conduct an annual citywide count for the foreseeable future. New sites will be added to keep pace with the expansion of the metro area.
