Guardian Park, located on Sandy Hook, New Jersey at the entrance to Fort Hancock, was the last monument added to Fort Hancock by the U.S. Army. It is named for the Nike Air Defense Missiles, which were the last “guardians” of the New York Metropolitan Area.
