The purpose of the study is to evaluate the potential of adding Moton Field in Tuskegee, Alabama to the National Park System to commemorate the role of the Tuskegee Airmen during World War II. In accordance with the NPS planning process, the study is a fact-finding effort based on readily available information, and is used to determine if the area resources have national significance and the suitability/feasibility of including the area in the National Park System.
