Vegetation and bird study conducted in the Mt. Trumbull and Toroweap areas. Yellow pine, mature pinyon-juniper, island railed pinyon-juniper, railed pinyon-juniper, sage and grassland were investigated for bird and vegetation communities during the summer breeding season. Birds were identified to species and characterized as to residency, behavior and territory. Vegetation was characterized as well to species and also for abundance but not density.
