A report to the US National Park Service, Everglades National Park, Homstead, Florida to represent a detailed demographic study of sparrows that are an endangered suibspecies to the Southern Everglades. The lands in ENP frquently conduct fires through burning and strategic control of natural fires. This study in conjunction with the fire management plans are aimed to yield results regarding the sparrow's response and recovery from fire. The Lopez Fire (human-ignited) that burned 8,427 acres was the fire specifically related to effects of fire on sparrow demography.
