Cox C, Dahood A, Hunt J. 2004. Monitoring Spiny Lobsters in Biscayne National Park; Final Report: Year 3. Cooperative Agreement No. CA5250-01-012, FWC/FWRI File Code #2293-01-A3. Biscayne National Park. Marathon, Florida

This was the third and final year of our contract to sample spiny lobsters in Biscayne National Park (BNP). We monitored thirteen sites in BNP, including ocean side reef sites and hard bottom sites in Biscayne Bay. Our goal was to monitor trends in lobster population size and structure. We hoped to determine the effect of the Two-Day Special Sport Lobster Season on lobsters in BNP by sampling before and after the lobster sport season.
