Water sources (springs and wells) at Dickey Ridge, Piney River, Mathews Arm, Swift Run Entrance, and Headquarters were inspected and evaluated to determine whether new construction and or repair/rehap work is needed to continue to collect potable wate rfrom the current sources. Recommendations for new well locations are provided, should the park decide that deep wells are preferable to redeveloping springs.
